Studio Response & Protocol

Formal Protocol

To protect the studio schedule and ensure complete dedication to each project, all confirmed bookings are subject to the following terms:

• The Commission Fee
  Initiating a portrait commission requires an upfront, non-refundable deposit. This initial investment secures your studio calendar dates, the private design phase, and our initial consultations. It is non-transferable.

• The Production Phase
  The remaining balance of the commission investment is due upon completion of the design phase. This balance must be settled prior to the sitting to lock in your darkroom chemistry preparation, specialized large-format film stocks, and any necessary travel logistics.

• Rescheduling & Cancellation
  Due to the limited nature of our studio calendar, a minimum of 30 days formal written notice is strictly required for any adjustments to a scheduled sitting. Cancellations or changes made inside this 30-day window forfeit the initial deposit.
